    Awkward Showcase - jQuery Content Slider

    I try to bookmark a lot of these jQuery sliders for future use. There are plenty of options out there, but this one looks exceptional. I’ve yet to try it out, but I love all the configuration options. Tooltips, thumbnails and dynamic height are all things I get asked to include with sliders often. I didn’t see the file size, so hopefully it’s not too bloated.

  4. It’s great to see the progress CSS has made over the last few years. With CSS 3 comes all kinds of new tricks and techniques. Marcofolio has put together this example page of many common jQuery animations that can now be done in CSS 3. Very impressive.

    Fantastical is a slick new mac app that works with iCal, Entourage and Outlook. It boasts an awesome looking UI and allows you to enter your events in plain english. So you can write something like ‘Lunch with John Doe at 11am’ and Fantastical will handle the rest.
